Video starts at 1:29:25. The conversation is about experimenting and mixing up stuff and why it happens. I like how Puppey answered that, really. Not just simply “We’re not being serious.” or “We don’t care.”, as most people would choose to believe. Plus I think what he said can be applied to other things in life aside from DOTA 2. :) Here’s the part of it that I like most.
The point is I will never back down on strategizing in DOTA 2 or DOTA overall. If we are in a slump and we are playing bad, it’s because we’re playing bad. It’s not because of the picks. It’s not because of anything. It’s just because it’s happening right now and, yes, maybe it is because of LAN events and the International after second blah-blah…
Mixing up is some kind of, I don’t know, a made up word, to be honest. You play DOTA. You choose things. You see what you understand. Maybe you’re wrong. Maybe you’re right. Some days you’re wrong. Sometimes you’re right. In the end you have to experiment to get to the level you want to become. You don’t just get to play the same songs that everybody else have written. Or actually, you do in the mainstream like crap that is now music. But, you know, before, it wasn’t like that.
You can choose the first way. You can choose to be a mindless sack that everybody is or you can choose your own way to do stuff all the time and begin a new era. All the time.
